Our traditional, landmarked farm is in Klerant, a fraction of Brixen near St. Andrä – close to our local mountain Plose, a paradise for active vacationers. All around our farm the beautiful nature of Eisack valley is at your feet. All year long you can do the most diverse things: from enjoyable hiking with children to the Törggele tour to a challenging climb. A highlight are our many delightful offers for riders and those who want to become them during farm holidays in Brixen. The love for nature, our high ecological awareness and humane treatment of animals characterize every day our work and our lives. The Widmannhof has been our family property over more than 250 years, that’s why it bestowed the designation “Erbhof” (family farm) in 1983. We act out of conviction and with much joy, practicing an organic agriculture. In the stable there are dairy cows, which eat during the summer months lush grass in the pasture and enjoy the aromatic hay over winter. Get to know us! Enjoy in one of our apartments the typical hospitality and warmth which can be experienced only in a farm holiday in Brixen (South Tyrol). This begins with a first “hello” when we pick you up upon request from the train station in Brixen.

At the Widmannhof everything is still genuine, authentic, pure. Our five apartments are between 40 and 100 m2 in size and offer you and your family plenty of space for a carefree holiday at the farm in Brixen (South Tyrol). The apartments consist of up to three double bedrooms, eat-in kitchen with couch and partly with corner bench, shower / WC and balcony, from which you have a wonderful view into the Eisack valley or to the Plose. Your holiday at our organic farm is fully equipped with all the most important things such as stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes, television and internet connection.
Especially we look forward to our little guests. On request we provide a cot and other useful equipment for your baby. By the way our apartments are supplied exclusively with renewable energy! A feel-good factor from the heart of nature.

Organic farm with riding facilities
for the whole family
When you visit us, you might be greeted with a joyful neigh. That comes from our stable, where Haflinger horses and ponies are waiting to meet you. Our private horse riding area and indoor riding hall are perfect for your first attempts at horse riding – and for kids we even offer safe and guided pony rides. For advanced riders, there are plenty of opportunities in the hall and on the field to practice, learn and brush up on their riding skills. We also offer riding lessons for children. Furthermore, the riding area offers a marvellous view of Mount Plose.
Your kids will make friends not only with our cheerful ponies. As a real working farm, we take care also of many other animals, from the farm dog to the calf, who want to be petted and fed. Therefore, here there is always something new to discover every day. Experience our agricultural world at first hand. We are pleased to come with you visiting our farm, showing how it is managed. Everywhere a little adventure will attract you.
